Unfortunately, Vince tore a rooter cuff and needed extended time to heal thus the work was not able to be performed. Vince honestly communicated that immediately and offered a return of the deposit which I have already received. Although the work was not completed, Vince conducted himself professionally and honestly allowing me to find another contractor. Vince was punctual when he came for the estimate and gave a very good price that I had accepted as being very fair. I would highly recommend his services and I wished Vince a speedy recovery.

Needed approximately 140′ of crown molding installed in a living/family room. I’d identified, on-line, the profile I needed.

Vince was one of 3 companies I contacted, he proposed that he manufacture out of solid wood the molding and also install it. The results far exceeded my expectations and knowing the moldings are solid wood as opposed to the plastic purchased molding is icing on the cake. The cost was no more than as if I’d had the plastic molding installed.

When Vince came to the house to measure and provide a quote he brought lots of samples with him, which was great. We chose a simple 3.25″ molding for the entire house, with an additional 1.50″ riser in the common areas.

Vince did the job over three days. He did an amazing job. Truly a master of his craft. The joints are so tight they didn’t require any fillers.

Update 2/6/14: I recently stayed in a 5-star hotel while on vacation. Fabulous place. Stunningly designed with lots of arches and columns. My crown molding is better.

He is a true artist and did a wonderful job and would definitely recommend him.

He also saw were there was a leak in one of the windows our building ended up having issues and it took an additional 6 months for our building to be fixed but Vince came back when the repairs were finished and finished his original work and did some additional trim work from the damage the leak in the building caused. He is unbelievable at what he does.

I would recommend him to any one. His standards are very high and I really appreciated his coming back as soon as we were ready for him.

We here in Pinellas County have problems with contractors, handymen and carpenters, most have no license, no show, no skill, not qualified, etc. Horror stories with quality, etc. We are thankful that we will not have to search any longer. Our painter, John Goetz was very impressed with your work. He said when most contractors install crown molding the seams are always visible. John said he couldn’t see them in our house. I did give John your information because he said clients ask him all the time to recommend someone for molding. My in-laws were also impressed when they came to visit. But the biggest compliment you got was from my son Spencer. He said to me one day, “mommy, can we have Aiden over so I can show him what Vince did”. I will contact you late summer, when there is more in the decorating funds to finish the upstairs. And for the opening between the living room and foyer, that probably won’t change size, so I will just move on.

I personally attest to the quality work/craftsmanship and service that Mr. Mantegna’s company extended me. The finished product exceeded our expectations, and was completed exactly within the stated time frame. All materials were received and crafted in A++ condition. Mr. Mantegna and his crew reported to the project everyday at a scheduled time, and left everyday at a scheduled time after cleaning there work place of all debris.
